Play In Challenger Lille : 3 French players join main draw, and the starts of Benoît Paire in doubles

Qualifying second round will have seen 3 French players joining main draw. Antoine Hoang, who obtained a wild card, upset young Estonian Mark Lajal. Veteran Kenny De Schepper overcame top seed Turkish Cem Ilkel, Maxime Janvier defeating Australien James McCabe.

To be noted the unexpected defeat in first round main draw of French Antoine Escoffier, surprised by Turkish Altug Celikbilec. In the French battle, Kyrian Jacquet took the best over Sascha Gueymard Wayenburg, at the end of a more than 2 hours epic fight.

Following of the first round this Tuesday, 28 March. Max Purcell begins his adventure in Lille with a match against Kazah  Beibit Zhukayev, the Australian and top seed being clearly the favorite. Young French players will also be on the courts today with especially rising hope Harold Mayot, Evan Furness, but also the big starts of Pierre-Hugues Herbert (5 grand Slam in doubles, one Davis Cup), who will be opposed to Belgium Gauthier Onclin.

At last, beginning of Benoit Paire in doubles should attract a lot of speactators, to see him playing his first round associated with his compatriot Harold Mayot.
