“Frenchness” air on Play In Challenger

Because missing people are always wrong, withdrawal of Lucas Pouille of this 2021 Play In Challenger edition, will without any doubt highlight two current rising stars of French tennis.

Benjamin Bonzi (24 years, ranked 124th) and Arthur Rinderknech (25 years, ranked 125th), who are on fire since the beginning of the year. Both of them were on the courts of Tennis Club Lillois Lille Métropole, this Tuesday, for their first round. They confirmed all the good dispositions they were told since several weeks. Each one in its own style, they successfully went through the first round, after a tough match, showing a mix of strength and serenity which made them naturally candidates for the final victory, as also Grégoire Barrère and Antoine Hoang.

Bonzi and Rinderknech bring this little glimpse of freshness which is very positive for the tournament.  The question now is to know whether they will manage to go until the end. Answer in a few days.
