DAVID GOFFIN, BENJAMIN BONZI, 4 TOP-100 PLAYERS (INCLUDING HUGO GASTON): UNPRECEDENTED AT THE PLAY IN CHALLENGER!

The entry list for the upcoming edition of the Play In Challenger (from February 15 to 22 at the TCLLM) has just been released—and it is the strongest field since the tournament was created!

First and foremost, the highly anticipated return to competition of David Goffin. Absent from the tour since his retirement at the Rolex Paris Masters, the greatest Belgian player in history (career-high world No. 7) will be playing almost at home, in a club whose colors he defended for several years. If his knee holds up, David’s appearance should draw big crowds…

In addition, four Top 100 players have been announced. Frenchman Hugo Gaston (world No. 93) will be the highest-ranked French player in the draw. In tears after retiring against Jannik Sinner in the first round of the Australian Open, the left-hander with a dazzling and inventive game will be looking to rediscover his smile on the TCLLM courts. Britain’s Jacob Fearnley (No. 77), Austria’s Filip Misolic (No. 84), and Belgian prodigy Alexander Blockx (No. 96) complete this quartet.

Blockx, a finalist at the most recent Next Gen ATP Finals, will be joined by two other rising stars of world tennis: Spain’s Martín Landaluce (20 years old, world No. 149), winner of the 2022 US Open junior title, and Germany’s Justin Engel (18 years old, world No. 184), already a Challenger champion in Hamburg at the end of 2025.

Fans will also have the chance to cheer on many French players, including Benjamin Bonzi. Ugo Blanchet, the French breakthrough player of the last US Open (third round, after defeating Jakub Menšík), is also expected. We will also see Luca Van Assche, back in form since the end of last season, as well as Harold Mayot.

Finally, other players well accustomed to the ATP Tour battles will also be present, including China’s Yunchaokete Bu (world No. 64 in 2025), Austria’s Sebastian Ofner (No. 37 in 2024), Italy’s Luca Nardi (No. 67 in 2025), and Tunisia’s Moez Echargui (world No. 134).

A truly royal lineup… with the wild cards still to be announced!
