Due to too strong uncertainties which are still today present on the evolution of worldwide Covid -19 pandemic, and given very strict sanitary measures imposed by ATP, we are deeply sad to announce you that 2020 edition of Play In Challenger will not be held.
Originally planned from 23 to 29 March, ATP Challenger tournament (81 240 $ + H) managed by Tennis Club Lillois Lille Métropole had in a first step contemplate postponing its third edition. But sanitary rules for such an event do not allow us to manage our tournament in optimal conditions and to meet your expectations.
Play In Challenger, who was upgraded this year to become an ATP Challenger 90 and to belong to top 10 of France indoor tournaments, always had the willingness to put forward strong values around sharing, pleasure and friendliness. The maintain of this 3rd edition in such current circumstances would not have been favorable to a popular, festive, and quality event.
We already rely on your presence for next edition, which will happen from 22 to 28 March 2021, to experience together fantastic moments, and we are looking forward to sharing with you our common passion for tennis.
We warmly thank of course all our faithful partners, local communities (Ville de Lille, Métropole Européenne de Lille, Région Hauts de France, Département du Nord), as private partners, and of course volunteers, for their trust and involvement in this prestigious event.
